River Cruise starts from the town of Manavgat (transportation from/back to Alanya is included). Sailing through the green waters You'll see many small turtles sunbathing in tree branches by the river. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery You can sunbath on the top of the boat and relax enjoying cool refreshing breezes. At the end of the Manavgat river there is a great sandy beach which separates the river from the Mediterranean Sea. In this remarkable place cold fresh river water mixes with the warm salty sea water. You'll have a break for sunbathing on the beach and swimming either in the sea or in the river.
After lunch on the boat You'll visit a beautiful waterfall on the Manavgat River. It's located not far from the ancient city of Side, 3 km north from Manavgat. The width of this waterfall is about 40 m. Although it falls from a low height (about 3 m), the white foaming water of the Manavgat Waterfall flows powerfully over the rocks. Shady tea gardens, fish restaurant, cafeteria and souvenir shops near the waterfall make it a great resting spot.
During this trip You'll also visit the town of Manavgat (the third largest city in Anlalya region (after Antalya and Alanya) and its mosque (one of the biggest on the Mediterranean side of Turkey, with four minarets and beautiful ornaments inside).
Every Thursday there is a big bazaar in Manavgat; it's worth to visit, especially the fruit and vegetable bazaar which makes You feeling the oriental atmosphere.
